Posting period error
Hi,
while iam going for initial stock upload using T- code MB1C with mvt type 561, it gives the below error message. in before i have already maintain the closed period for material master record for the year 2006..(T-code MMPV).for 1000 plant , but here i want upload the stock in 1100 plant.
it gives the below error mesg.
Entry 1100 does not exist in T001 (check entry)
Message no. 00058.
Posting only possible in periods 2006/12 and 2006/11 in company code 1000
Message no. M7053
If i have enter the current plant 1100, it shows the error below megs.
Diagnosis
The posting date entered is not within one of the permitted posting periods (current period/previous period).
This can be due to one of two reasons:
The correct current period has not been set in the system.
For the system, the first of the entered periods is the current period. At the beginning of a new period, your systems administrator must change the current period in the material master record, using the function "Shift periods". This has not yet been done.
You have entered a wrong date in the field "Posting date".
Procedure
Check the posting date and correct it if necessary. If your input is correct, inform your systems administrator that the "period shifting" (period-end closing) process has not yet been completed. Copied from M8022.
Can you please try resolve the Error Mesg....

Certificates after migration
Hi Experts,
We are currently migrating our PI system
Can some one please clarify on below points.
1.how to generate AS2 certificates I tried in nwa I can create private and respective certificate, how about public key which I need to share with third party? How to I generate public key?
2.how to generate ssl certificates?
3.For sftp is ssh key system specific because usually they are generated using putty do I need to create ssh key again?
4.for soap outbound and inbound what certificated do I need to provide?
5. Any other certificates which I have missed in the above list?

I have made setting in OS25 and OS27 for making Change number mandatory. Also i changed authorization object C_STUE_NOH =" ".
Now Change number is mandatory in CS01, But it should me mandatory for OS25 Bom usage and status.
Now when i open CV11 then also iam getting change master mandatory

How to extend and test the Fiori Standard app using Eclipse mars
Hello Experts,
I am very new to SAP Fiori and bit stuck with present requirement , the basic requirement is to add the button at the toolbar of standard My_contact app of fiori.I downloaded the app using SE38 report (/UI5/UI5_REPOSITORY_LOAD) and imported to Eclipse (mars version) by creating new sapui5 application project. as the required extension point is not available so for POC ( Proof of concept ) i added the code of button on the available extension point extContactPicture (which is for contact picture). uploaded the app back into Gateway system to check the result. configured the app following configuration steps like ( lpd_cust , semantic object , launchpad designer ). i am getting the tile of my custom app over the launchpad , but its showing error " cant be loaded , try again later".
My Questions are:
Once importing the standard app code to eclipse can we test the app over browser, i mean i configured the tomcat server and provide our server hostname and port in Web.xml file of code . when i run the app thro eclipse->choosing server , It comes up with Blue screen which is basic theme.
so It is possible to test the app thro eclipse.
As many doc suggest , if the extension point is not available then we have to go for view replacement, can any one explain me what that actually means?
( i mean we need the standard functionality in the replaced view as well so we going to copy all code of standard and added our custom code too in other way it would be again standard view with extension code )
I downloaded the standard app into eclipse and uploaded back into gateway system without changing anything except the name ,which is also not working. can any one tell what are dependency or ids or code we have to maintain so that app would once uploaded from external system to gateway system.
I am from ABAP background , would really appreciated for guidance and support .

I came to know the solution on my own, here is the approach
The initial stocks for the KANBAN manufactured parts at cut off date will be loaded to SAP as per IM methods. for the first time, keep " Separate GR for status change" indicator set in control cycle and do the status change for required bins to FULL to sync with the stock for those parts.

when 'screen variants for items' file is missing in the tree. Why
Answer: if transaction variant already contains screen variant for the GL account block
(SAPLFSKB0100) therefore the 'screen variants for items' file is suppressed
(see note 331997)
The question now is as follows: when SHD0 to create a screen variant for FV50
editing 'SAPLFSKB under Program - is this the only program for FV50 or are
their other programs that can be selected for FV50?

Boy, how lucky that ASE doesn't have a directive like <set headers on/off>, so that such interesting adventures through different sql editors can be explored.
Fortunately, I don't need a machete to hack a path through this jungle. I'm working in a controlled environment where these procedures have a fixed structure and are used for a specific purpose (namely to validate the correctness of data that is being processed into or out of production tables). I want the ability to display certain content so it can be captured by a shell script and attached to notification emails and/or redirected to log files.
I had mostly been using SELECT to display single values, but then ran into the need to dump a #temp table that will never have many rows.
So the solution is clear. I'll remove the -b flag from the isql call and use PRINT with parameter substitution for the regular info messages and SELECT for dumping tables.
This is pretty much as good a solution as being able to toggle headers.
